“ Order your meal at the Convenience store counter and wait outside for your number to be called. They also have online ordering to avoid the line. I decided to get 2 Mexican carne asada tacos and then a ground beef hard taco. It was a bit of a wait because I came at the lunch rush but well worth it! Tacos were delicious! Great flavors. I got the spicy salsa and added on top for a nice kick too! ”
“ Convenience store + mexican food? Couldn't ask for anything better! They have a variety of juice, soda, beer, wine, and Latin snacks, as well as household, personal, and car care items. Also have an ATM. Employees were nice. You order at the front counter and stand outside to wait for your food to be brought out to you. Ordered the chicken burrito (pico, rice, beans, shredded chicken, lettuce) and it was amazing. The chicken was well seasoned and tender. Other toppings complimented each other perfectly. Also tried the beef taco and I'll definitely be back for more of them! Beef was also well seasoned. Loved their sour cream on top. ”
“ The Mexican Tacos are great! Haven't had such great tacos since living in Austin. Really good food, served with fresh lime and a tasty green salsa with a nice kick. ”
“ The food is so great here! Hidden gem of NoMo area! Love that it is so close to Cormac community! ”
“ This place is phenomenal. Highly recommend. I had a steak quesadilla and my roommate got the chicken quesadilla and we damn near cried it was so good. Everyone who works here is so sweet and deserves a hug. Vibes are high in this establishment. Go get u some. ”
“ Since moving to Charleston from Chicago a few years ago I haven't been able to find good, cheap tacos. We went for lunch and I got the lunch special. It was $12 for carnitas tacos, beans, rice, salad and a Diet Coke. Such a steal. Tastes almost like back home. You order at the counter and wait outside til they call your number. ”
“ This is a convenience store that has a kitchen that serves some of the best tacos you'll ever eat! 3 tacos mexicanos for $9.99. What more do you really need? They also have crispy shell tacos, burritos, quesadillas, tortas and taco salads. No place to sit, so you have to take them to go, if you don't love close, you can head over to Corrine Jones Park to enjoy. Food comes out quickly and hot with your choice of salsa. ENJOY! ”
“ Possibly the best Mexican food in Charleston, and it is quick and affordable to boot. ”
“ I came in today having no idea they served food but this place is amazing!! The customer service was perfect, friendly and efficient. I waited maybe 5 minutes for my food even though there were a good amount of people ordering and it was only $9.96?! Not sure exactly what taco I got but holy mother it was good, everything was fresh and still warm by the time I got home! ”
“ Ok- Good Mexican in a superette! Lines are always long yet we still come from James Island just for the carnitas- some of the most flavorful pork I have ever had and that's saying a lot for these neck of the woods. Not greasy, not fatty, and little bits of crunch throughout. But...... no carnitas today!! Ahhhhh! So let's talk about what we did get.....These guys must have been having a bad day...I got the veggie taco salad- I asked for no taco shell, but it comes with one if you want it- should've taken it- the salad was very small. My partner got the carne asada lunch plate. Flavor was great but it was chewy- Maybe a longer marinade time. Prices are very good- 9$ for not enough salad and large portion lunch plate was 10.99 with rice, beans and a soda, so that was good. Missing stars for the wait- like 30min on a weekday lunch rush, small salad, and NO CARNITAS. :( But like I said, good flavor! ”
